    About Isabelle Pelletane :

Born in the Paris region in 1969, Isabelle Pelletane has spent part of her career abroad. She now lives and works in Poitiers (France).

Isabelle PelletaneFascinated since always by the power of color, the matter, and Nature, Isabelle Pelletane leads a reflection on the human being. Varying her subject matter according to her paintings, she offers us a vision that is always optimistic, colorful, and full of life

Isabelle Pelletane works the pictorial matter in an instinctive and dynamic gesture, a technique all in rhythms and movements, reminding abstract expressionism. Everything is in the act of painting, painting in the present moment, like a life impulse, the commitment is complete, the gesture provokes the expulsion, like an explosion of colors on the canvas. His work, which constantly evolves between abstraction and figuration, is marked by the influence of artists such as Pollock, Sam Francis, Joan Mitchell, Cy Twombly, or Monet.

After a period dominated by the importance of plant motifs, his expression has evolved in recent years towards a more abstract tendency, dominated by gesture and color, the interlacing plants have gradually been transformed into pure form, then into letters, words, and finally messages. The harmony of these words with luminous colors, the tasks, and splashes, allow him to evoke here the force of vital energies and the desire to talk about peace, free spirit, freedom. Art is life!

Isabelle Pelletane has had many exhibitions in France and abroad, notably in Italy, Spain, Poland, Russia, Germany, and China. Her works are also part of many private collections in France, Europe, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates.
