About Renaud Grizard :
Born in Paris in 1961. Renaud Grizard spent his childhood in Canada and Pakistan before returning to France where he studied architecture. After obtaining his diploma, Renaud Grizard very quickly abandoned his architectural profession to devote himself exclusively to painting. Among the artists who inspire him are Francis Bacon and Lucian Freud...
Soft, luminous, in warm and acidulous tones, his paintings question above all the place of man in society and nature. While we are constantly confronted with a flood of information and events, his works invite us to slow down, to look, to consider different points of view. Anchored in his time, his powerful and sober work imposes itself on us, almost like a philosophy, and the texts chosen for the title add poetry to an already eminently poetic work.
Renaud Grizard's work is part of many private collections in France and abroad:Â Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece and the United States.
