About Henrik Gjerstad :
Henrik Gjerstad (b. 1996) is a Norwegian artist based in Oslo. Since childhood Henrik has been invigorated by art and the aesthetically beautiful. Specialising in the mediums of oil paint, acrylic and spray paint, Henrik is known for his expressionist and abstract artworks. The expressionist works often incorporate text and lyrics, whereas the abstract pieces feature organic shapes, deep textures and vivid colours.Street art and textures of urban environments form a core source of inspiration for Henrik. Many of his experiences and artistic interpretations are developed during travels to different places around the world. For Henrik, the process of producing art ignites a journey to a free place where anything and everything can happen.
