We are pleased to introduce you to the work of our new photographer Nicolas Rivals. Through 2 beautiful series of works, Rorschach Light (aesthetics and mise en abyme) and In Praise of Stability series for which he was winner of Grand Prix ETPA in 2013.
Eloge de la Stabilité (In Praise of Stabiliyt) & Light Rorschach
A luminous creation in an universe of concrete, like an apparition occurred in Long exposure light painting. Graphic symbiosis gross architecture mixed with the sweetness of a burst of light. Presence, absence of the photographer / artificer which is sometimes trapped in the circle he draws. Consider these two series as a performance at the place of shooting. Nicolas Rivals reconstructed the scene by impregnating it his aesthetic universe.
